I really want to study sequential art (comic books, haha) but my parents have already told me that a job like that is not stable, so they've kind of pushed me to go for nursing (which is a stable job).
*I was wondering if it's possible to major in both art and nursing...? Or would that be too hard/impossible?
I've also thought of majoring in nursing and having a minor in art, but I don't know how that can work out...
I have one more year of high school, but I'd rather not wait until the last minute to make this decision. I've been thinking of just going into nursing alone, and just doing art as a side-thing for when I have spare time. But wow... thinking of it like that kills me because growing up, I've never really wanted for art to be just a "side-thing."
But it's the real world and I'd need money to get by, and going into nursing alone seems like the best option.
Any advice/comments are appreciated. Thanks in advance!!
