is it possible to lift a ford ranger by putting bigger shocks on it?

no,not that simple,need a body lift or more expensive suspension lift,really need to know what you're trying to achieve,bigger tires and wheels,size ...what?
 
you dont lift anything by putting bigger shocks on it, you get a lift kit that goes between the drivetrain and the bottom of the car (I think)
