Is it possible to install Boot Camp Using a Electronic Download of Windows 7?

Right now I'm running Snow Leopard, and I'm trying to use Boot Camp to install Windows 7.

I just bought Windows 7 at a student discount, but it only offered it as an electronic download (with an additional fee if I want the back up disk). The file that was downloaded was an exe file.

Is it possible to install windows 7 through the exe file? Or do I absolutely need the disk to install it through boot camp?
 
You need the disk to do the boot camp,
Unless you know how to install windows 7 on another PC and take an Image of that and use that to start the virtual machine

Sorry, The disk is a big helper
