...Terrestrial (1982) without the CGI...? I really dislike the changes that were made to E.T. when they re-released it for DVD.
I have my old VHS copy of the original 1982 theatrical version, but I was wondering if it exists anywhere on DVD. My VHS copy is full-screen and quite old and beaten up.
Maybe my best bet is laserdisc?
If what I'm looking for does in fact exist on DVD, could you hook me up with a link to where I can buy it or something? I've looked around places like amazon.com but I find it very confusing and difficult to figure out what the different advertised products actually are. One DVD release in particular seems to have generated tons of disagreement among amazon.com users over whether or not it actually includes the true original theatrical version of the movie.
