Lets say I have the proper amp and equipment. Only thing different would be a Gibson Les Paul with 1957 pickups. Would there be a way to still recieve that VanHalen tone off this guitar? If so, what would I need to do to get as close to it as possible. As of right now I cannot afford a strat but I can probably buy certain equipment if cheap enough. I'm also open to any suggestions for Amp settings. I currently have a JvM Marshall 2 channel.
