Is it possible to get pregnant if you have sex while you're on you're period?

About a week ago, i started experiencing extreme irritability...Not just that but minor stomach pains, fatigue, more urination, and i'm hungry a-lot more. I also have little bits of nausea here and there, but no vomiting. I had intercourse when I was on my period, and 2 weeks later (now) I'm having all these problems. Are these symptoms for early pregnancy? Is that possible??

Yes it is but it's extremely rare. Approximately 1% of women ovulate on or just after their period. If you have sex just before or during ovulation your odds of getting pregnant are about 20-25% (in a single month). Do the math and that means out of the entire female population only .25% (or 1/4 of a %) will get pregnant on their period.

Vomitting and nausea are not signs of early pregnancy. You'd have to be about 7 weeks along to feel those (most of the time).

Don't stress, that can cause your period to be late as well. Chances are it didn't happen. If your period is more than 2 or 3 days late take a test then. Until then don't worry. Also, I don't know if it was unprotected sex or if you are thinking the condom may have broke (or a pill failed) but having sex without a condom during your period is very dangerous. It can cause all sorts of infections for both you and the guy. So be careful.

Good luck
