Is it possible to get a college scholarship from the military?

It's called the Montgomery GI Bill. You pay $100 per month for the first year of service. Your discharge from the military must be "honorable".
A "general discharge under honorable conditions" won't qualify. But, after 6 months it should be upgraded to honorable so long as there's no pending UCMJ actions. So with an honorable discharge you can use your MGI Bill up to the amount specified with your recruiter and you can only use it up to 10 years after your ETS date. Any remaining amount left after a decade will no longer be available to you.

Well you can join as a enlisted member, and get the GI Bill not quite sure if that is what you meant since it isn't exactly a scholarship but, if you don't wanna be an officer that would be the best bet. I would go reserves and use my GI bill.Look up Montgomery GI bill and Post 9-11 GI bill. Good luck\

Another note, A lot of schools offer this program called the yellow ribbon program. The military will give the school TA (tuition assistance) and the school will pay the rest. This is only when you are serving active duty though.

as far as i'm concerned, i think the only way to get money for college from the military would be to go to college after your service. i believe only officer programs offer you scholarships right out of high school. your best bet if you really want to go enlisted is to do service and and then use the G.I. bill to go to college. however, if you are a college bound student, you really should go officer
