Question A

I've been going to the gym for the past 2 years trying to reach 165 pounds, I'm currently 150 pounds.. 5'9. I'm trying to gaina s much muscle as possible, but I'm in university and I HAVE to take this fitness course, I need it for credits or I will have to take more courses in futures semesters...
So my question is, is it possible to gain weight from lifting weight in the gym as well as benefit from cardio by burning fat off? So burn fat off from cardio and gain muscle mass in the gym lifting weights. I have a pretty high metabolism so I know I will need to eat to replace what I burn off doing cardio. We have cardio twice a week, and run for an hour, like 4-5km at the moment and gradually get to 15km by the end of the course. And I will workout in the gym for weight gain 3 days a week.
Is ths possible to do?
Thanks
@R2345 I got a weight gain powder that's 1350 calories per 4 scoops (1 serving) and 79 grams of protein. It's hard to believe that it's true though lol. thanks.
