When I was a kid, I would ride my bike every day after school, for hours and hours. It was my favorite thing to do, and I was really good at it. I stopped riding after about 5th grade, then one day in my outdoor gym class last year (my senior year) I was asked to ride a bike and I was horrible. I couldn't keep my balance at all! I fell multiple times, I could barely steer, or pedal, and the seat was the most uncomfortable. I practiced a couple times after that, but I just couldn't seem to get it back.
