Is it possible to file for financial aid to begin in the spring semester?

I have never had financial aid before, but I am now hoping to return to college (in Florida) for spring 2008 and will only be able to do so with the help of financial aid. Is it possible for me to qualify for financial aid in time for the spring semester? If so, when would the deadline be to have all my forms submitted?
 
I'm hoping you mean you want to return to college in Spring of 2010... since 2008 already passed.

Yes, you can fill out the FAFSA; however, you will have missed the state deadlines. You may still qualify for federal aid, just not state grants. So, make sure that you fill out another FAFSA in early spring of 2010 (February or March) for the 2010-2011 school year.
