Is it possible to download itunes on a flash drive?

I have a new netbook - which doesn't have a very big hard drive, so I'd like to save my itune songs to a flash drive. Can I do this? Can I download itunes on the netbook, and keep the library on a flash drive? Can you tell me how to do this?
 
Down load ituns when it ask where you wont it to go tell it the flash drive then move the songs to the flash drive
