Is it possible to convert playstation 2 games to a PSP and play them if so how?

I asked this question bcause i was on youtube a person had a video and it showed steps on how to play gta san andreas on psp but they showed a video which looked pretty authentic i didnt try i just wanted 2 know if it was true and if u can do it to other PS2 games?
 
Most of the ps2 games run on 2 analog sticks. You can only really play playstation x games because most of them run on the d-pad. And I think the imageing is a little more advanced for the psp's smaller screen.
