Is it possible to change the layout of the htc aria message thread?

On the new phone i just purchased, when i send and receive a message i only see the message of the person whom replied, the message i sent goes to the top of the thread.
ex)
my message: ....
my message:...
my message:...
their message:...
their message:...
their message...

etc.

Is it possible to change the layout so it goes

my message:
their message:
my message:
their message:

or any other way?
