is it possible to buy a blackberry without contract?

i live in singapore. i would like to get a blackberry phone but my contract hasn't ended yet. is it possible to get one without contract? i use starhub and my plan ends in 11 months, however, i do not wish to recontract.
if possible, please also help me find out the price of a Blackberry Bold, both 9000 and 9700. thanks(:
