...software, NOT in a browser? I use nopaypoker.com just for fun and enjoy being able to play tournaments relatively instantly. Up until today, my previous Internet Security blocked the ads in the game. Now that i've moved on to a Norton Internet Security, it no longer blocks. I know it seems trivial but the flashing, moving, constantly changing casino ads are really annoying. There is lots of information about how to block ads in browsers (Adblock and such) but these dont affect the ads in the nopaypoker program. There is an option to disable the ads in the software but you have to pay to do this and it defeats the purpose of not paying for it.
tl;dr my old Internet Security (Spyware Doctor) blocked the ads so surely there is a program that can do this for me.
