My husband was laid off and we are trying to look under every rock for a job. He played baseball in high school and was very good but did not go to college. Would he be qualified to be an assistant coach or do they require a college degree? Particularly for the younger grades such as Junior high perhaps? And do assistant coaches also teach?
Is it possible to be an assistant baseball coach if you have not gone to college?
