Is it possible to be able to have a Mazda MX5 as my first car?

I'm coming towards 17 and im looking into my first car, i know people say get a rubbish car as your first but i really want a Mazda MX5, is it possible to have that as your first car and be able to get insured on it and a reasonable price? and how much would you say at a estimate? Oh and im also a male which will change the outcome:(
