Is it possible to be a great photographer with a "Kodak Easyshare" 5.0? Even for a beginner ?

In some cases, as a camera is just as good as it's user. My first camera was a Kodak Easyshare and even though it had very limited manual settings, I was still able to produce some reasonable photos with it. But you're probably best off saving for a new camera with more manual settings

The truth - probably not.
Great photographers of the past used the best analogue equipment available to them. They worked for many years towards getting the amazing images we know them for.
Today we have a whole new ball game with cameras that range from poor quality to very very good quality. We have a minefield of advertising to wade through and many gobby sales pitches that could lead us astray.
It is much more likely to make outstanding images with top end professional kit than it is with a poor quality kit.
Now having said that I still believe that the photographers skills with analogue can still get excellent results if he knows how to push and pull the medium and knows its limitations. Photography is not all about camera; its about the combination of operator skill, excellent lighting aided by a good camera and last but not least darkroom or digital darkroom expertise.

My display picture was taken with a camera that was only 1/10 of a mega pixel. You can't really see it, but when I converted it to a jpeg with about 10% compression, it gave the picture an angelic sort of haze and covered up a few annoying details. That was years ago and it is still my favorite picture of myself.
You can do more fun things with more advanced equipment, but what makes you an artist is what you are able to convey in your work. You can do that with most any camera. If you can find the beauty in the world around you and capture it with even the worst camera, you'll have a talent that few possess.
Your easyshare pictures might not make it into any magazines, but what you learn with it may get you there someday.
