Is it possible to alter the sex of your babies in the Sims 2?

I'm a bit curious considering I've been playing it for a while now and all of my Sims who have gotten pregnant have had nothing but girls. I'm just wondering, because I've heard some rumors about this, if there's any way to alter the sex of the baby while the Sim is still pregnant? Like, are there certain foods to eat or activities to partake in that would affect the sex at all?

You cant alter the sex, but if you save the game right before your character gives birth, you can go back to the neighborhood and keep trying until you get the gender that you want!
