Is it possible that in the U.S. we are deprived of real news reports?

For a few years now, mostly since a few news giants were able to purchase other mediums of communication, I have noticed that incredible amount of interesting, informative, and necessary news reports are being simply denied coverage.

A couple of years back I wrote similar question here in Yahoo, citing many cases, some of which were completely known around most of the world, while we "open mouthed" here were hearing about it only after all the commotion had died down, or simply not even knowing it at all.

Aside from the American journalist having become somewhat lazy due to the many comforts ultra modern society brings them_nothing beats sitting behind a desk, looking without a hair out of place!_the monies paid them are exorbitant at times. And these "anchor people" rely on the "little guys" out there, who only follow producers direction to the letter, and we get deprived of incredible news stories all over the globe.

Of course, it's also been said in these past few years that America mostly cares for what happens in America. But I'm sorry to say that even the news happening here in the U.S. some times I'm only able to find it when reading from foreign outlets.

Do you hate being left out like this?
