if someone has the POTENTIAL to become great, but does NOT have the guidelines to get where she needs to be? Like, lets say
I have the potential to become a great ice hockey player. My parents, coaches and random people tell me all the time. But, I can't afford to go to training camp, hockey school, etc so I can't be trained the best I can be like other players who have the opportunity to learn more. And, if I were to try out for hockey at University, I know my chances are very slim compared to other people who have impressive history of hockey to make the cut.
Do you know what I'm trying to say here? :/
