I had an episode the other night where I was awakened out of a dead sleep to feeling like I was hot. I got up for a few minutes thinking it would cool me off only to end up with feeling intensly hot and lightheaded. I ended up vomiting and having a brief bout with diarrhea. It took lying on the floor with a cool compress on my forehead to cool off and feel normal again. I am 43 years old and no longer have my uterus and have been without it for 4.5 years.
Is it possible for a hot flash to be so bad that it causes vomiting and diarrhea?
