Is it possible for a guy/girl from minnesota to be in marine boot camp at Parris Island?

Or does everyone that wants to go to marine boot camp from Minnesota just go to California?
 
all females go to parris island, and i believe under certain circumstances i.e. high ranking military family members pull some strings, a male could go, but honestly its all the same training, there is no better MCRD its all the same generalized training.
 
All girls to PI. Men; either or based on your geographical location. If you want a preference that bad then demand it from your recruiter or you will not go in.

Also, I would definitely take San Diego during the winter and stay away from PI during the summer and those little sand fleas!

Only bad thing of San Diego is you are next to an airport and at first it makes you homesick, but they have unemployed people sitting in chairs on that side to catch you and get a reward.

Both are definitely tougher than the disneyland theme parks the army, air farce, and navy attend!
