is it posible to put a cadillac CTS-V rearend into a 1999 pontiac trans am?

the reason i was wanting to put this particular rearend in my car is because in the CTS-V it is hooked up to the ZL-1 CORVETTE LS9 engine which in the CTS-V puts out 556 hp so i know it a heck of a good rearend.
