I have to do an easy project, write a legal brief.
I have a case in mind I'd like to do.
When you read case law, it will have the facts identified for you as well as history, holding, issue, reasoning ETC. Everything is spelled out for you, is copying those facts plagiarism?
Yea that's the first element, case citation. I can't figure out the point of this assignment because the briefing for all case law I can read, it's already been identified and it's well written. I'm trying to figure out if I should re-write the well written holding into my own words, or keep it the same.
