I cut a chunk of skin off of my finger last night. I put a tight band aid over it to stop the bleeding. Today when I went to change band aids I was unable to immediately take it off because it stuck to my wound. I had to soak it in hot water for about 10 minutes. Is it alright to put Vaseline over the open wound before I put on the new band aid so it will not stick?
Is it okay to put Vaseline on an open wound?
