Is it okay to proceed with my business?

As long as you do a tax return either as a business or an employee then it is OK - Your business would need to file a return if you have it registered - Then you claim the cards and a work area as deductions -
Then you would be its employee -
The other way is as a self employed contractor - Then you still claim those deductions for yourself -
See a tax man for details -
 
okay i have had my business operational for almost a year and i need to know if it is legal what im doing and how do i make it legal? i am running a computer builds and repair services at home and getting called out to jobs.i am 16 turning 17 in January 2010 and i have already got my website up and my business cards printed out and that's it.is this legal what im doing or do i need a business number and tax files and crap like that?
because i don't need no department on my back.thanks alot.
and i already have a taxfile number
