Is it okay to let my grandson dine on floor viddles if he really really likes them?

true that can be a bit fuzzy and i don't always know where they come from (1/2 of them come off the dog) but you know, what doesn't kill you makes your stronger and it's not like we don't feed the boy a regular meal weekly!
