I'm a 12th grader who wants to apply to an art college,hopefully Savannah College of Art and Design.
I am not from the US, and I am studying in a bilingual school in Honduras right now(but i am not a honduran). I was always interested in Animation and Sequence Art, and recently I've decided to study in an art college, hopefully in SCAD as I mentioned up there. But the problem to me is that I have never received an art class and I don't know anything about it. And my decision to study animation was something very recent so I couldn't prepare(such as getting tutoring..) for it in the past few years.
Even if I succeed to be admitted, i don't know if i will do well without any knowledge or skills(such as drawing[i like to draw but its not like i have a God-given, natural talent]) in art and probably i won't do well.
i am regretting so much that i wasted last few years doing nothing with no vision, but i don't want to give up on my dream.
so....as the title says
"Is it okay to go to an art college without having received any art education?"
