I have never owned a dog or cat, but I am taking care of a family's 2 dogs and 2 cats while they are traveling for 10-15 days. The owners showed me how much and how often to feed them, but not so much the actual process.
So when it came time to feed them, I wondered about what I should use to serve them (the dogs specifically, as the cats require much less maintenance).
The dogs each have their own metal bowls, but:
when I am serving food from a can is it okay to use a normal spoon for people?
when I am measuring dry food is it okay to use the same 1/2 cup measuring cup that I would use for making food for people?
When serving cats wet food can I use a normal human bowl?
Hopefully you understand my concerns and can help me, as I am somewhat perplexed.
