Is it okay to date a guy from a different background and lifestyle?

Ok so he's about 9 years older than me. I'm twenty-one. It's my first time seeing someone. he's from the villages, i'm brought up in the uptownsy area. so far i like everything about his personality and i have no problem dating him, but the last time i saw him which was our first date, his bo was slightly noticeable which was a major turn off. i really don't want this to be the usual case, and i hope it's not but it might. it's enough for me to deal with this unexpected dating right now, which i know later on i can handle.
 
Sure it is even if your parents or friends don't like you dating someone from a dif culture then its thier problem cuz dating a guy from a dif part of the world you get to learn about their culture, traditions, holidays, and everything else i would go for it
