Hello all,
I was curious about what is okay to eat in the Muslim religion. My boyfriend is American but of Arabic background. I'm Puerto Rican and I cook with a lot of beef / pork and I was told that Muslims cannot eat this? Not sure if it's true or not. Anyway this weekend we are going to be studying together and I offered to cook us lunch and was thinking of making picadillo, which is basically beef with rice and beans. Is this ok? The reason I haven't asked him if its okay is because he becomes oddly defensive whenever I mention his religion / background. I know he drinks himself into stupors at times so I'm pretty sure that he isn't very strict in his religion.
We have only been dating a little over a month.. he was supposed to marry me? Huh?
