My (20 year old male) neighbors throw outrageously loud parties late at night 3-4 times a week. I've complained to our landlord, but it's not helping. Normally I turn on my TV and try to sleep, but on several occasions they've gotten into fist fights and even smashed my window once. I feel threatened when they do this, because I am a college girl living by myself.
The police have been called several times by other neighbors, but I'm not sure what phone number I should use. They woke me up about two hours ago, and it's now almost 2am. They're screaming and throwing things (bottles, etc). It's not necessarily an emergency because no one is injured or wielding a weapon, but the non-emergency number for the police station does not work this late as it is far past their business hours.
Is it okay to call 911? I really need them to stop.
