Is it okay for me to have sex?

I am 16 and my girl is also 16, I think we are ready, been seeing her for 8 months. Good time to start?
 
8 months is a good amount of time to be together, but 16 is still a bit young. Is she on birth control? Do you have condoms, or can you get them? Are you both virgins? Keep in mind that sometimes sex can change a relationship, even if you both think you're ready for it. Consider all of these things and take your time deciding. You don't want to end up regretting it.
 
don't rush things cuz if you do find some you love n they save them selves or when you get married your gonna feel bad you wasnt able to do that for him or her
