they have these things called sneakerboots. hightop, very lightweight, good traction, cheap ones available at any Walter -Market. But go for something halfway decent like Merril(tm)
yes but, high tops are better because it gives your ankle better support tennis shoes will due but u should get some hiking shoes if you become a frequent hiker
I've just signed up for a group I found online, this group hikes and I guess run ..it's kinda a weight training thing. I've never hiked before and when I read about what to wear it mentioned hiking shoes. I went to the store and I was shown big heavy brown boot. I wasn't impressed and didn't buy any . Why would I wear boots like that...wouldn't they get heavy and slow me down. How can I run wearing those boots or heavy shoes? Can I just wear dark tennis shoes? What if everyone is wearing those boots or may be they tell me I can't hike with tennis shoes .
What difference would tennis shoes make?
I was supposed last Saturday but the shoe thing just drained my energy
I went to Big five I may go to Finish line or Sport Challet tomorrow and see if they have something different.
