Is it ok to wear dark wash denim jeans with a dressy top and heals to the theater?

We are going to see Jesus Christ Superstar at the Milwaukee theater tonight and I still cant find anything to wear... Would it be appropriate to wear dark wash denim jeans with a dressy top and some peep toe pumps?
