english script? there r these books that you get the original script in one page and on the other side a some kind of translation for it into modern and understandable english. I read Romeo and Juliet like that but I just can't stop wondering whether reading it that way may had ruined the experience. I mean, aren't classics are, well sort off too holy to be discarded from their thous, thees and untos? But still, I tried to only read one page frome the unabridged and original script of Romeo and Juliet or The huanch back of notre dame but it was sooooo hard and it was like reading hyroglophics and it takes me soooo long. I can understand some of the script but not all of it.
so what do u think? is it ok to read classics in their original script alongside with its moderanized one or that would ruin the whole thing?
