Is it OK to drink medicine early?

So I have this annoying hacking cough and I took some Buckleys medicine (ewee) the box says to drink it every 4. -6 hours but I'm going to bed now and it's only been 3 hours since my last dose

Is it ok for me to drink it now? Will I die if I drink it right now?0_o thanks
