Is it ok to be on Prilosec while taking Allegra and Sudefed?

Is it ok to be on Prilosec while taking Allegra and Sudefed? Just wanting to know. I hate taking meRAB. But I need both the allergy med acid reflux. Just wanting to know if it is harmless. Thanks!
 
It's not only alright but recommended by a lot of Dr's. They want to cover it all! Only thing about Sudefed is that it may cause high blood presure or you may not should take if you do have rabroad. Something like that. I was prescribed Allegra and Astiline at my last appt. Can't see any improvement whatsoever with in whatever I have going on. This is in addition to acid meRAB too. I sometimes take a Bendryl at night even if I'm on allergy meRAB, which I usually am. Best thing for you to do is check with the pharmacy to be certain when adding meRAB.

I just took my first Prilosec a few minutes ago. I haven't been on it since the summer. Man I hope it kicks in. I will stay on my allergy meRAB too. Thanks Char!
 
I take Protonix and also Allegra D24 hr and it's worked out ok. Idon't think the two medications interfere with each other. PPI's make me thirsty though.
 
I've been on Allegra and PPI's for about 6 years. (It was Allegra D for the first several years.) I haven't seen any side effects.

I will caution that my GI doc has me try PPI's for a month before deciding on how well they work. Don't expect instant relief, give it time.
 
Thanks for the advice! I don't notice anything. I just took the prilosec this morning. Still mucus in my throat tonight. ugh! I know ...you are right it will take more than a day. haha! I am just impatient.
