we were casually dating for about 5 months, and i decided i wanted things to go up a notch. He freaked out when i mentioned getting more serious but i actually meant it differently to cutting off his freedom. I set down the ground rules that i still want us to lead our own seperate lives, have our own friends, hobbies, interests, but that when we're together we share all those things and support and listen to each other.
Does this idea sound reasonable? He calmed down after this so i take it hes now comfortable with having a relationship?
