Is it obvious that the major religion that spawns interest in debate is Christianity?

A war has practically broken out where we have seen so called Christians over indulge themselves in criticizing homosexuals, pro-abortionists and the like..

I am a follower of the Bible, but I do not 'like' to say that I am a Christian because of all the stains the word has amassed over the passed decades.

Atheists and agnostics (non-biblical) have seen this ignorant behavior and have interpreted it as fruitless and malignant. They have compared the Christian God to a tyrant and have turned their backs, claiming that if there is a God, surely this one isn't it.

I do not go to church. My family does and wishes that I may, but I do not. Instead, I read and interpret the Bible with wisdom. I do not rely on story time to gain my knowledge.

I admire atheists for not siding with a cult of individuals who claim Christianity, staining the name of God with their poor decisions.

Atheists are not bad people, at all. I work in a biochemistry department and most of my coworkers (friends) are Atheists. Super nice people that would give me the shirt off their back if I were ever in trouble.

They respect my decision because I do not try to shove God down their throats, but they know that I live my life step by step by the Bible. When they ask, I simply say that God wants us to live by example.

The Bible is out there for a reason. To give us hope, not bigoting ammunition.

Everyone is entitled to a chance. Perhaps atheists should redefine the term Christian and show the world true wisdom.

Then maybe, the name of our Lord will not go in vain.
