i dont know how to explain this but you know when your trying to go on the internet (not wireless) and you have to plug in the ethernet cord to the computer (or in my case laptop) and also plug it into the cable modem, well do you have to unplug it to reset the modem when your trying to plug the ethernet cable to another computer?
ok so say i WAS using my computer for internet and the computer was hooked with the ethernet cable and also to the cable modem...
now if i want to use my laptop with the ethernet cable, do i have to reset my modem to make it work? (considering i already took off the ethernet cable on the pc of course because i only have 1 ethernet cable)
because last time i used my laptop, i didnt have to reset the cable modem and now whenever im done with the pc and try to use laptop for internet with the ethernet, i have to go reset the cable...
is that normal? or is that because my firewall (avg) is blocking my ethernet connection on my laptop?
sorry if this doesnt make any sense but whenever i use wireless, my internet is really slow like loading youtube videos, playing online or even downloading stuff.....like 100kbs/sec max
BUT
when i plug in with my high speed cable its around 800kbs/sec
