Ok, so I'm nearly 16 year old girl and I'm pretty sure I'm straight. I've had plenty of crushes on guys before, my celebrity crush is Taylor Lautner and I have been in love with this one boy in my school for about a year. I am currently trying to move on as he now has a girlfriend. I have never had any romantic or sexual thoughts about girls or felt attracted to a girl and am pretty sure I am straight.
But recently I have been having feelings for one of my best girl friends. It is really weird, it's like I've always thought she was pretty (cause all of my friends are) but now it's like I'm really happy when I'm with her and get excited about seeing her. Obviously I'm happy to be with all my friends but I'm sure this is different.
The weird thing is though, I have never thought of being with her as a couple or kissing her etc.
and even now the thought doesn't really appeal do me
I'm just wondering does mean I'm a lesbian? Or bisexual? Or is it just a phase? I really want to know because although I have nothing against gays or lesbians, I've always dreamed of marrying a boy and having children and I realised (and this might sound mean or rude) but I don't want to be a lesbian.
