Is it normal to miss a period after 7 cycles on Loestrin 24 Fe with a period?

My fiancee (age 22) has been taking Loestrin 24 Fe for 7 months/cycles. She always gets her period regularly while on it, but this month she has not gotten it. Today she was supposed to start her new pack, so she started her new pack after no period/bleeding at all.

I do know that in the middle of this particular cycle she went from taking her pills around 10PM to 8AM because she fell asleep without taking it one night. She has proceeded to take all of them since this mishap within 24 hours of the previous one.

Before Loestrin 24 Fe, she was on Ocella for 8 cycles, and was switched to Loestrin when the GYN thought she had an ovarian cyst and could use the extra iron pills. She has had two episodes with irregular bleeding in the past, both occurring while taking Ocella (the GYN attributed this to a possible cyst as opposed to a miscarriage).

Is there any chance she is pregnant? I know a side effect of this RX can be no bleeding, but even after 7 completed cycles with a period? I read some websites which say women can have no periods while on this RX, but none of them talk about this happening after completing more than 5 cycles with normal menstruation.

We are nervous about taking a pregnancy test, but it seems inevitable. I just want to know how likely it is that she is pregnant, or what else it possibly could be?

I also want to know if it was/is wise to start the new pack despite no period.. Would this pose a risk to a possible fetus or her own health?

Thank you!
I should add that we were intimate twice in this cycle before she was late taking a pill, and once after the cycle was altered. All 3 times we did not use any other form of protection.

I should also add that while she has always gotten her period on the pill, recently it has come later than normal (1-2 days max), but it has still come. That is why at first we did not think anything of it until all of a sudden it was time to start the new pack and no period yet.
