other people who do? None of my friends like manga or anime. And I feel uncomfortable being with the kids who do like it because they dress kinda weird and use random Japanese words, like "kawaii" "moe" and "baka" (I find that embarrassing and kinda lame).
So is it abnormal that I'm embarrassed to hang out with the other "otakus"
@Hanashiru Kiyumi - it's not that I find those words lame, it's just I find it weird that someone who isn't Japanese, and who can't speak Japanese (other than those words) would go around saying that stuff. Just my opinion.
@JL - I never said I hated that kids that acted like that, or that I felt I was above them. I talk to them occasionally but we're not really friends.
As that person earlier said I'm like Kirino, I like to keep my 2D life and my 3D life separate (I haven't watched Oreimo, I had to look up who Kirino was. Kinda sad to say, but I recognized that manga)
