Is it normal for the Blackberry Bold 9700 to have such a sensitive screen?

anyone have the blackberry bold 9700 who thinks the screen is way too sensitive? just pushing on the keys closest to the screen causes the colors to move as if you are forcing on the screen itself. and just lightly touching on the screen causes the colors to go crazy. is this normal?
