I recently purchased an 06 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon (4 days ago) and I noticed that the manual transmission gets a little warmer than I am comfortable with on longer commutes. Since the cup holders are directly above the transmission, they also get rather warm, and by warm I mean hot. This is great for coffee, not so great for soda! The dealership told me this is a jeep thing, is this true? The dealership also told me that the jeep was recently serviced with all the fluids checked or changed, but could not give me proof. BTW the jeep has 60,000 miles. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.
