We had it installed less than a year and I noticed then there were some vertical cracks on the leg supports. Didn't seem to affect anything at the time. I took it apart since we moved and one of the legs is badly warped so I inspected it only to find a horizontal crack, looks like it could break anytime now. The company has lifetime warranty against defects in the wood, cracks excluded. Can a crack like that get there by usual wear and tear or was the leg defective?? I didn't notice it until I took it apart and my kids are really little and could not have cause damage like that.
