Is it normal for an ex to joke around this way?

whenever I talk to my ex (we stayed good friends) he jokingly bosses me around.. like if I have to go to work he'll be like 'chop chop! move your ***.. go.. i said so' or be like 'shoo!' is this normal behavior for an ex?
