non-toxic mold? There's been a heavy amount of mold spores in my apartment ever since this mold in my carpet was disrupted. And I mean "heavy amount" as in, if I set out a bowl of water, there will be gray fuzzy stuff growing at the bottom by the end of the day. Everything smells musty, and I get a lot of sore throats and headaches when I'm here.
I tested the air with one of those mold test kits (I don't know how reliable those are) and it indicated there were several different types of common molds, but no toxic mold apparently. Regardless, I'm still wondering if it's necessary to throw out any belongings I've had here when I move out to avoid transferring mold spores, and what kinds of belongings? What about electronic stuff like TVs and computers? I just got some new things and can't afford it getting covered with mold. Please help!
